Hey, Iām Maria!
I immigrated from Mexico as a child and became the first in my family to graduate from college in America. Iād imagined that getting my diploma and securing a job would push me across the financial finish line, but I was wrong. Now, I had to figure out how to turn my paychecks into the generational wealth of my familyās dreams.
I deciphered my white-collar compensation, designed a sustainable budget that incorporated my individual goals as well as my cultural values, and set up the right financial accounts to achieve key money milestones.
I learned how to create flexibility and wealth for myself while honoring my responsibilites to my family and community.
In 2020, I founded FirstGenLiving so that others donāt have to do this alone.
